Diggle Lock: A Hidden Culinary Gem in Oldham

The overall experience was good. The menu on the day didn't match the one on their website ( the prices were slightly higher and also some of the items were slightly diferent) I order the loaded fries and find it a bit disappointing. Although the portion is quite generous, the chorizo was a bit burned and they were dry (you could barely taste the cheese or tomato sauce). The star of the show was definitely their french toast, which was quite nice (although a bit on the pricier side and there was no white chocolate sauce as expected). The ambience was good and the team are friendly, however nobody came to check if the food was alright.

Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and he took the time to recommend dishes that he thought we would enjoy. He also made sure that our drinks were always full. The atmosphere at the Diggle Lock is cozy and inviting. The restaurant is small, but it's well-lit and decorated with warm colors. There's a log burner in the corner of the room, which adds to the cozy ambiance. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Diggle Lock. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. It's a wonderfully quirky place. Lovely atmosphere. Staff are friendly, chatty, and polite. Plus, it's dog friendly, too. The food tasted amazing. Well worth it. If you're passing by, be sure to make a pit stop and give it a whirl! You won't be disappointed

Diggle Lock delivers on all fronts, great food, warm atmosphere, and excellent service. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring a quick and pleasant dining experience. The all-day breakfast was a standout, making for a satisfying meal, and the coffee was equally impressive. Definitely a place worth returning to! Please make sure to book in advance!

Only found this place this year and love it. Staff are friendly and attentive, really nice atmosphere and the food is at a great price and very tasty. The French toast is a favourite of mine...is totally amazing. I recommend this place 100%

We tried 3 kinds of food they have and they were all quite nice. Especially impressed by their seasonal special bailey french toast in its moist texture and plenty of flavouring! Club sandwich was giant and fried chicken was seasoned well. Pancake is however not as expected as it turned out a bit too “sticky”and not fluffy enough for me. It is still a lovely place for brunch in the neighbourhood / Oldham. I think I will come visit again.

Great food. We were slightly early for our booking but the very nice waitress took us to a table. The service was a little slow as it was Sunday and busy so as an apology for our lengthier wait were were offered a complimentary drink. The food was well worth waiting for. The décor is very contemporary to the building and very much to our taste. There is a small outdoor space for eating as well as indoor and ample parking. The restaurant is just by the canal.
